Paddle for Autism is a charity fundraising event to help raise money and awareness for Autism Support Famagusta.  

Begafigo SUP team, in conjuction with Windsurfers on Tour Limassol, have taken on the huge challenge of paddle boarding 70km, from Zygi to Ayia Napa Marina.   This crazy mission will start from Zygi marina, one hour before sunrise and with the assistance of safety boats, will take approximately 12 hours, depending on the weather. 

There will also be a shorter distance of 45km (from Kiti) and the final stretch of 5km from Potamos Liopetriou to Ayia Napa Marina, where there will be a special ‘Welcome Home’ party!  We hope you will join us there!! 

All of the proceeds of this event will go to Autism Support Famagusta and particularly towards the running costs of the Smile Project in Sotira.

The Smile Project is a specialised Day Centre for young adults, over the age of 21 who are on the Autism Spectrum. This centre relies largely on fundraising and donations from the public for its day to day running. This centre provides invaluable support and relief to families affected by Autism.  

Our ultimate goal is to raise enough funds to build a specialised day care centre, to meet the growing needs of individuals affected by autism.
